EWS water conditioning causes a physical change in the minerals found in your water.  In each unit the water is filtered through the Granular Activated Carbon then conditioned as it passes through the ICN Conditioner.  The ICN Conditioner breaks apart calcium and magnesium minerals that easily adhere to surfaces (including your skin) into small nuclei with concentric patters with no longer adhere to surfaces and actively inhibits scale formation.

   Would you purchase a water system that removes your essential minerals and replaces them with salt?  Of course not.  However, that is exactly what traditional softeners do.

How It Works

Once filtered, the water is forced to flow through the ICN Conditioners, which are integrated into the water distribution riser

pipe, in order to increase the catalytic effect.  This effect inhibits scale formation in your pipes and water heaters, and also allow easier clean up of water spotting.  The ICNs are charged dissimilar metals (not magnets which only offer a temporary effect), creating an environmental and healthy alternative to the ion exchange of conventional softeners that depend on sodium or potassium chloride to remove natural calcium and magnesium minerals.
